first_imgSamsung has silently launched the Galaxy C5 Pro in China at a price of CNY 2,499 or roughly Rs 24,128. The Galaxy C5 Pro is simply a smaller and compact version of the Galaxy C7 Pro that Samsung recently launched (again) in China. The phone shares almost all the hardware specs of its older sibling and differs only in screen size and battery capacity. The Galaxy C5 Pro boasts of a full-metal body and a front-mounted fingerprint scanner. It comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clubbed with 4 gigs of RAM under the hood. It further comes with up to 64GB of internal memory which is also expandable. The dual-SIM phone runs Android Marshmallow-based TouchWiz and supports 4G LTE and Samsung Pay. The phone also gets Samsung’s proprietary Always-on display and USB Type-C for charging and data syncing. The C5 Pro sports a 16-megapixel camera on the rear with f/1.9 aperture and dual-LED (dual tone) flash. Also, there’s a 16-megapixel front-facing camera on-board the device. The phone is backed by a 2,600mAh battery and will be available in the colours: Lake Blue, Maple Leaf, and Powder Rose. The Galaxy C5 Pro and the Galaxy C7 Pro joins the companies Galaxy C9 Pro thereby completing (hopefully) the trio. Samsung has a similar trio of phones in its A-series. Of these the Galaxy A5 and the Galaxy A7 2017 were recently launched in India at Rs 28,990 and Rs 33,490 respectively. The A5 and A7 2017 have been designed specifically to offer a flagship Galaxy S7-kind of experience at a not so flagship Galaxy S7-kind of pricing.advertisementThe A5 and A7 2017 also borrow two of the biggest highlights of the S7. They are both IP68 certified which makes them dust and water-resistant and also they come with Samsung’s Always-on display. Also Read: Samsung Galaxy A5, A7 2017 quick review: The cheaper Galaxy S7 that you always wantedlast_img read more
