It wasn’t until a 10th minute point from Killeshin’s Pauric Bolton that the scoring in this match got underway.Adam McDermott struck back for Rosenallis before Colm Poole landed two frees from the right-wing for the Rosenallis men.David Aston replied with a free of his own in the 17th minute which was followed by a Lee Dunne point a minute later. Colm Poole converted another free before a brilliant turn off the right boot from Bolton went over to draw the sides level.Michael Doran and Donal Lalor swapped scores, with Arnie Mahon landing a high point just inside the 30 minute mark. Cormac Murphy kicked over a Crettyard free to leave the deficit at six points to four at half-time.Fran Egan and Murphy exchanged frees before Arles-Kilcruise went ahead by three with points from Cialann Murphy and Anthony McElroy. Sean O’Shea added a point for Crettyard before a father and two efforts from Kevin Meaney and Liam Whelan increased Arles-Kilcruise’s lead to five points.John Michael McDonald and Liam Whelan added two more points while a Criostoir Maher free signalled the end of scoring for Crettyard and the match finished with Arles-Kilcruise winning 14 points to eight.Ballyroan-Abbey 0-15 Arles-Killeen 0-8Ballyroan-Abbey got the better of Arles-Killeen at home tonight.Jason Enright proved to be the main scorer for Arles-Kileen with three points in the first-half. Sean O’Shea, Donie Brennan and Conor Keightly all added points for the men in blue while MJ Tierney, Scott Conroy and Padraig McMahon supplied the scores for Liam Irwin’s side.The score at half-time was Ballyroan-Abbey 0-9 Arles-Killeen 0-6.Ballyroan-Abbey pushed on through scores from Diarmuid Whelan, Conor Brennan, Conroy and McMahon to bring their tally to 15.
